Monday 9th February - Talks by members Rod Fry & Dave Collerton

Tonight we have two talks. The first is from Rod Fry who will be looking at the History of Photography as Art. Rod is a long standing honorary member of the club with an amazing knowledge of photography across every decade. His talks are amusing and interesting in equal measure. Rod's talk starts at 7:30pm sharp. After the break, Dave Collerton will be offering up a talk on Vintage Lenses on Modern Cameras, Nostalgic Bliss or Vintage Mayhem. Dave's interest in experimental photography encapsulates shooting early CCD and LiveMOS digital cameras and sensors through to combining vintage and legacy lenses with more modern camera technology. For Dave, the photo is just the start of his artistic journey and this talk includes 50+ images taken with a variety of lenses and camera bodies, including LiveMOS.
