We were pleased to host the WCPF Travelling Photo Exhibition at PPC last night. This was an opportunity to view the work of photographers from clubs around the southwest, both as prints and as projected DPI's. The night was hosted by Alex Hamer who acted as compare and projectionist in the absence of Dave Smithson and Chris Arkle. Commentaries on the various prints were provided by Rod Fry, Chris Champ, John Jeffries, Russell McGowan and Dave Collerton with Alex Hamer holding things together and providing some amusing observations throughout the evening. The exhibition now moves on to Newton Abbot and then Dawlish & Teignmouth across the next few nights. A big thanks to Colin Winstanley for being with us on the night and for conveying the prints safely on to their next two destinations. Next Monday evening we have the judging for the Section 2 Urban Landscape competition with Ken Holland.
