Monday night saw the second of our themed competitions, Urban Landscapes, this time judged by Ken Holland of Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club. Ken is widely regarded, and for very good reason, as one of the most experienced judges in the south-west region. Unlike the Section 1 Competition, this was a print competition and entries were received across all three groups within the club. As usual the standard throughout the groups was very high and placings keenly contested, especially in the A and A1 groups. Ken commented that the overall level was excellent and that some of the entries in the A & B groups would not have been out of place in the A1 group which understandably was heartening to hear by the club as a whole.
